IF YOU CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT CEREAL GRAINS

IF YOU CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT CEREAL GRAINS

Here is my recommendation: start cutting back slowly.

Prepare half your normal carbs per meal (ie: bread, pasta, rice, white potatoes)

The high sugar content of these foods causes a large spike in blood glucose level. Fill the rest of your plate with low glycemic, high fiber carbs, such as broccoli, sweet potatoes, zucchini, squash, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussel sprouts, tomatoes, etc.

As snacks, use low glycemic fruits, nuts, pumpkin seeds, etc. Avoid at all costs sugar, cereal based snacks, crackers, and all sodas.

These changes will help guard against excessive carbohydrate intake, helping maintain normal blood sugar levels. (preferable level: Below 90)
