Dear Healthcare Reform,
According to consumer reports study released in the spring of 09’, on the treatment of back pain, consumers preferred manual care treatments over drugs and surgery. The number one choice of manual care by America consumers is chiropractic care. Don’t let bureaucratic prejudice regulate who Americans can choose for their spinal care, particularly gate keeper care for back pain problems.
Add to patient satisfaction the cost savings documented by almost every study over the past 30 years using chiropractic care over conventional medicine. You have the two largest factors, cost, and patient satisfaction pointing directly to chiropractic care for relieving back pain, one of our countries leading causes of lost of work time, and thus productivity and cost effectiveness. Americans stand to save billions of dollars a year in healthcare costs.
