Alternative treatment option for Plantar Fasciitis

Alternative treatment option for Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is caused by the stretching of the tendons that connect to the three arches of the foot. Most commonly, the long tendon that supports the inner arch of the foot. Plantar fasciitis is due primarily to the inward rolling of the foot, known as overpronation. Common causes of plantar fasciitis are weight gain, over-use (like running), hardwood and tile floors, and poor arch supports in footwear (especially sandals/flip flops). Once these tendons are stretched past their normal tone, they will never return to their initial strength. The over-stretching of the tendons can eventually lead to fibrosing of the tissue. This fibrosing of tissue could potentially form a heel spur. In addition to these issues cause by plantar fasciitis, you then become predisposed to all kinds of musculoskeletal disorders such as low back pain, knee, and hip problems, neck pain, and headaches. My treatment protocol for plantar fasciitis is performed through non-invasive soft tissue release work. My plan requires no painful injections or needles and offers a nearly 100% success rate in the treatment of plantar fasciitis over the past 30 years. Another option is custom orthotic fitting, if appropriate.
